Benzema reacts strongly to the president of the French Federation

Real Madrid star Karim Benzema has reacted strongly to recent comments by Noel Le Gret, president of the French Football Federation.

"Benzema's adventure with France is over. He is a great player, and I have no doubt about his abilities. At Real Madrid he proved to be one of the best players in his position, but his adventure with cocks is over."

"Noel," Benzema wrote on his Twitter account. "I thought you didn't interfere with the coach's decisions, but you have to know that I am the only one who decided the end of my international career."

"If you think I'm done, let me play with one of the countries I'm eligible to be with, and we'll see what happens."

Benzema, who is currently La Liga scorer with 9 goals, has not joined the French national team since 2015, against the backdrop of the famous crisis with his then teammate Valbuena, despite the acquittal of the player of Algerian origin after that.

Didier Deschamps, the current coach of the French national team, justified his exclusion of Benzema from his plans as a technical decision only and not for any other reasons.
