Liverpool stuns Lester on Arnold's Night

Liverpool scored a valuable away away home victory over Leicester City in a clean four on Thursday evening, in the framework of the 19th round of the Premier League.

The Reds' goals were scored by Roberto Firmino "double" and James Milner from the penalty spot and Alexander Arnold, in the 31st, 71, 74 and 78th minutes, respectively.

And strengthened the men of the German coach Juergen Klopp, their position on the throne of the standings by reaching 52 points, to move away from Lister, the runner-up, by 13 points.

Liverpool started the match with an offensive storm that almost yielded an early goal in the first minute by Arnold, who fired a shot, saved by goalkeeper Casper Schmeichel.

The Reds soon returned with another attack a few seconds later, ending at the feet of Sadio Mane, who failed to turn the ball into the net, after the ball hit his foot and went outside the field.

Mohamed Salah missed the opportunity to advance with a first goal after he received a cross pass, to elude Schmeichel after he came out of the penalty area, but he rushed to hit the ball, which hit the net from outside.

Firmino extracted the ball from one of the foxes' defenders, to reach his colleague Jordan Henderson, who hit a powerful ball, hit the feet of the guests defender, to pass next to the post and miss a new opportunity on the Reds.

By the 31st minute, Liverpool had succeeded in reaching their goal after Firmino rose to a perfect cross from Arnold, directing a header into the net, scoring the goal of progress for the guests.

Mane almost strengthened the Reds' advance with a new goal, but Schmeichel defended his goal brilliantly and countered the Senegalese attempt to calm down the match relatively and ended the first half with Liverpool's progress (1-0).

Liverpool waited until 10 minutes into the second half to threaten Leicester's goal with a scored goal, after Robertson sent a cross to Firmino inside the penalty area, to be met by the Brazilian striker with a direct touch, but she went out of the goal.

Salah almost scored the second goal of the Reds, after he reached the ball inside the penalty area, and fired it with his right hand, to hit the body of Schmeichel and then the crossbar, before it was found that there was an infiltration on Firmino.

Caglar Suyoncho made a fatal mistake by touching the ball with his hand inside the Lester penalty area, for the referee to award a penalty for Liverpool, James Milner set it up and put it successfully into the net, to consolidate his team's progress with the second goal.

It took only 3 minutes for Firmino to sign his second and third goal for the Reds, after he hit a cross from Arnold, to put it skillfully into the net.

Arnold fired a mercy bullet on the foxes after 4 minutes, after he scored the fourth goal himself after receiving a pass from Mane, to launch a creeping ground shot, which Spikeer was unable to address.

Liverpool players maintained their lead in the last minutes, and the referee blew the final whistle by winning the guests (4-0).
