Officially .. Liverpool includes Minamino

Liverpool announced on Thursday that they have signed a contract with Japanese striker Takumi Minamino (24 years old), coming from Austrian Red Bull Salzburg.

According to the Reds official website, Minamino will become an official player on the team, starting in January, after passing the medical examination and ending the agreement on personal terms within the past 24 hours.

Liverpool has not released any details about the player's contract, which will wear the 18th shirt.

"My dream was to become a player in Liverpool," Menamino said, in comments to the official website of his new club, after the signing. "I cannot believe it has become true."

He added: "Playing in the Premier League was one of my goals, as it is the strongest league in the world .. I expected if my career as a footballer went smoothly, one day I will be able to play in the English Premier League."

He continued: "But I never thought that I would be able to play in Liverpool, so I'm really happy with that."

Minamino participated in 199 games with Salzburg, where he scored 64 goals, as he played 22 games with Japan.
